The first use of OMG was actually not credited to a modern teenager — in fact, it goes all the way back to a letter from 1917. Lord Fisher was the first to use it: It was written in a letter to Winston Churchill and shortly followed by the words “(Oh! My God!!).” (via @LettersOfNote)
